Back in Feb 1987 Peter Brock Released the HDT Brock VL Director and Holden and Brock Where no more!

Brock went on to produce 12 examples of the Director with a price tag of $87,000 so back in 1987 they where the most expensive and rarest of all the cars that Peter Brock and HDT made.This Car was the 10th example made by Brock HDT being sold late 1987 in Brisbane and it comes with extensive history.

The engines where hand built by HDT the where blue printed and balanced fitted with Roller Rockers and the heads where ported to Brocks Specifaction and they producted 223 Kilowatts (Don't forget the Walkinshaw only producted 180 Kw and it would take HSV until 1999 when the first of the Gen III were released to product a motor with more power) these cars where decades before there time.

It was optioned with the 223 Kilowatt High Output Motor, Sunroof, Recaro Leather Sports Seats, 2 x Polarisers, 90 Lt Fuel Tank, 16" x 8" Simmons B45 Alloy Wheels 245/45/16 Tyres, Alarm, Power Windows, Momo Steering Wheel and all the normal items like Cruise Control, Power Windows and Mirrors, Corvette Brake Calipers, Bilstein Suspension and so on.

(Alloy has dulled off a little since last shown, won’t take much to get back to perfect, bumpers have also blistered the chrome, so need re doing)

Up for auction on eBay is this 1973 Holden HQ Monaro.

This Monaro comes with 99.9% of the parts. All that is missing is the rear seat, grille and alternator.

The seller bought this car with the intention of completing the restoration but does not have the time or the money.

The entire body is 100% rust free. Its all been professionally repaired, the previous owner told me it had over 300 hours spent on the body to get it to the standard it is now. This HQ Monaro is in primer, and is ready for final prep for top coat of paint.

It has a 308 and trimatic box fitted, but i have not started the engine since I bought it. It needs an alternator and the wiring hooked up to try to start it.

Up for auction is this genuine VK Calais with a full group 3 body kit. eBay seller has owned the car for 18 months and bought it as a project because it is perfect for a V8 Brocky replica especially with the blue Calais interior.

The motor is a injected 3.3 and seller was told it didn't run when purchased, but wasn’t a problem because the motor wasn't to be used. Seller is uncertain of the problem but suggests it requires rebuilding.

It has a lsd and all the other Calais bits and pieces, has been shedded up until recently and has very minimal rust all over including windscreens, also is pretty straight but the bars will need some minor repairs.
