Brown 1974 Holden Monaro Coupe V8

Brown 1974 Holden Monaro Coupe V8

1974 Holden Monaro V8 - click to view eBay Auction

On eBay is this Holden Monaro Coupe HJ LS 1974 Rare V8.

The seller purchased this HJ LS Monaro from the neighbour of the original owner. He had it sitting for a couple of years in his yard undercover. Before that his neighbour was the original owner since new.

This is one of these rare moments when you get a chance to buy a rare original Monaro that is complete with original parts. The only thing missing is one of the badges on the rear quarter and seller thinks it’s the right side that is missing. The windscreen is there you can see it on one of the pictures. The seller has removed the bumpers to start some restoration work but have not progressed past this point.

With the car comes:

  1. Original Production Broadcast sheet (only the corner) as seen in the picture (this shows the build details such as paint tires and interior etc).
  2. The original sales brochure from the Holden dealer that lets you pick your options etc.
  3. HJ owner’s manual.

The silver honeycomb rims where an option from the dealer as was the vinyl roof cover. Hence the rust where the chrome bars ran along the bottom of the vinyl roof. The car has Air Con fitted through the standard vents not a separate unit.

The doors and floor and boot are virtually rust free nothing major. All rust spots can be seen from the pictures besides the obvious spots the car is very straight and clean. The interior is worn but original. The car is still the original paint. The car did drive 2 years ago but the seller has left it sitting for to long and it would need some loving if not a rebuild.

The only thing the seller has done is remove the front cowl around the lights to remove some rust. So the bonnet is loose but everything is there.

Brown 1973 Ford XA Fairmont Coupe GS 250 2V

Brown 1973 Ford XA Fairmont

1973 Ford XA Fairmont - click to view eBay Auction

For sale on eBay is a 1973 Ford XA Fairmont GS Hardtop - quite possibly the most awesome Ford ever made! Matching numbers vehicle with special order Toploader. The seller has some of the original paperwork where the first owner got to pick the options of their new Ford.

The seller has owned the vechile for around 8 years and it has always been a Tasmanian car, originally from Burnie but it's currently sitting in my parents garage about 40km from Hobart.

If you observe the interior pictures on eBay, you’ll notice the carpet needs replacing. There were 2 damp towels left on the floor for a period of time. I am told that it only affected the carpet and has no problems underneath.
All the gauges work. The back seat looks in great condition and got little use before the seller owned it. The seller got great use from the back.

The paint is the original Copper Bronze and looks amazing out in the sunlight, it's just a shame that it needs a little touch up to make a few rust repairs. Seriously, brown cars are tough as guts.

The 2V isn't the original head, this car came with the standard snorefest head. The seller pulled it off an XA panelvan. I don't have the original head anymore, but the engine block is the original matching numbers.

Running across the bonnet and passenger side front guard are 3 very small dents, this was caused by a previous owner closing his garage door without the coupe all the way in. The seller tried to get photo's off the small dents, but they didn't show up on the camera.

The 12 slotters currently fitted are not the originals, the width of what Ford gave these from factory was kind of lame.

There is also a Cleveland block that you're welcome to have as well. It's at standard bore and with a bit of work would turn this car into a serious machine.
The diff is just a plain old BW, not the 9 inch.
The car is NOT RUNNING. The 250 has water damage and should be replaced. There is no radiator. Basically it'll take a donor car to get it on the road for these mechanical reasons.

1975 Holden Torana SL 3300

Holden Torana SL 3300

Holden Torana SL 3300 - click view eBay Auction

Here is an April 1975 Holden LH 4 Door Torana SL 3300. It is in exceptional original/unmodified condition. The car has been stored under its custom car cover in my shed for a number of years. It has only had one previous owner and was fastidiously maintained and cared for.

The car has a set of CSA Bathurst globes of which there are 6. 1 of which is brand new in the box. It also has the ERA spec, Holden Workshop manual which in itself I have been told is priceless.

The car has the 6cyl 3300 or 202 engine with the Trimatic automatic gearbox fitted. Front seat is a bench 3 seater.

The Exterior is near flawless with only the chrome on the bumpers showing signs of its age. There are no visible signs of rust of body repairs at all. The interior trim, roof lining and door cards are in great condition, the carpet has some staining in the foot wells.

This car is a true "survivor" and a wonderful example of this model. It is a shame to sell it, but I need the room and no longer have the time available for maintaining its condition.

The seller is happy to assist with interstate shipping.
