Up for auction is this 1972 Holden Torana.

This car has been a good reliable daily driver for the past four years. The body is straight and rust free.l Engine is a mildly worked 186 with a mild cam, 350 holley, extractors running into a 2'' exhaust. Gearbox is the M21 with an L.S.D. This car also stops very well courtesy of the big booster. It also comes with 4 Sprintmasters in good, unscuffed condition. Interior is good and doesn't have any tears or splits. It also has a new black hood linging. The car is currently registered but will be sold without plates.

Up for auction is a genuine Bathurst 05/9/73 Torana GTR-XU1.

The photos on eBay are before restoration started of the vehicle before, the Torana currently has been striped back to a bare shell for the past 6 years and how it is currently which has had in excess of $30,000 plus of body work done on it.

The body is now up to the stage of having the spray putty rubbed back and undercoated for respraying. Photos of the body in undercoat grey above are current photos.

The vehicle comes with all its ID tags, original motor, head, which have been full reconditioned but need to be assembled. Triple 175 Bathurst carbouretta (need restoration), Reconditioned M21 gearbox & interiour which still needs restoration.

Torana is now totally rust free and straight as a gun barrell all work performed by well known vehicle restoration centre, where vehicle currently is in storage.
The vehicle still needs full restoration except for the body and motor/ M21 gearbox.

Up for auction is this two door Holden Torana which was the seller’s first car for 18 years.

It has a 186 stroked to 235 custom built by SpeedTech Engineering on the Gold Coast.The was run in on their engine dyno which produced 290hp at 5300rpm.

It has 221 crank, Ford rods and pistons solid lifters and cam,straight cut timing gears,Yella Terra roller rockers,186 high comp head,high volume oil pump,holley blue fuel pump and 45mm webbers.It has pacemaker extractors and a 2 and half inch exhaust it runs a 2 speed powerglide,all manual shift with 3500 stall converter.

Ford 9" with 3.77 ratio,15"standard volvo rims,4"fronts and 6.5"rear alloy drop tank,Hurst V-matic2 shifter 2xSAAS racing seats with RPM harnesses.The engine has only got about 30hours since it was built.

Black velour trim,back seat and parcel tray needs doing.The car has been a project for many years and is 90% finished.Very minor rust spots that are the size of half a 5 cent piece. Vehicle needs paint and was painted 12 years ago.

14/10 big dish hard to find and 14/7 on the front   Vehicile come with registration but no road worthy condition. The motor runs well, it has an electronic distributer, holy carb, 4 core radiator, extracters, twin exhaust, the auto needs attention, but seller has another auto to go with it. It just has a bango diff, 308, interior needs a tidy up could do with some new carpet, two front seats are different from the rear, there is some rust starting to come through ,was painted about 5 years, just running it on gas at the moment, it was a 6. It does need some work but at the end of the day the old Torana is getting hard to get a hold of.also have some spares new axles and there is about 2 litres of paint.

The shell is in good condition and rust free, but dose have some blemishes and front spoiler was damaged from trailer.

Has genuine weld prostars, Mickey Thompson 275/50/15 [26"] street slicks, front runners, auto meter gauges, full slr trim ect ect.

During last time out at wisid it went 10.94 na and there is plenty more to be had with more sorting as will easily take 250 shot of nos as well

It is registered till August 11th 2011 but is not street drivable.

Up for auction is this brown 1971 Holden Torana GTR with genuine matching numbers.

The car is built from Adelaide Plant and it is possibly the rarest genuine Torana that still hasn't had a complete restoration, just heaps of improvements.

Yes that is correct 173s (2850cc) CF block with Aussie 4 speed which is how all GTR's from June-December 1971 came.. As the HQ was released mid 71 and the LJ not until Jan 72 these cars like the color is HQ Escutchen Gold Metalic and 161s was NLA only fee GTR's in this era as normal Customers either waited for LJ or order XU1.
The GTR single Auto choke reconiditioned carbouretta starts first time every time!
The Interior (Antique Gold) is quite rare.

THE POINTS

Interior

Seller has replaced the carpet, front seats reapolstered in original trim and material, reconditioned the dash pad. All the Cluster works, armrests were done with Dash Pad, The door Trims and head lining need reconditioning.

Exterior

Previous owner repainted car in original color 2 Pac and the paintwork looks good from 1.5M but does have some flaws! The tyres, wheels, locks, etc are all in reasonable condition.

This car has fresh green 2 pac inside and out, motor, 400 Chev, alloy heads, hbeam rods, forged piston, big cam, roller rockers, Romac crank brace balancer, 671 blower, gear box, 2 speed power glide full manualised, 3500 converter, R bandit shifter, Diff, 9 inch, 3.7 gears, HQ stud pattern, Wheels, Convo pro HQ pattern, Has fuel cell, twin 3 inch exhaust

Seller states this is a 10 second car may even brake 9 second. The seller fine tuned and did make 500 rwhp in a HQ at the last burn out competition on the sunshine coast in the dyno comp.

The engine was built by Horse Power engineering in Brisbane on 12 months ago but only done around 3 thousand kilometres since rebuild. 2 speed and diff are brand new built by Sunstate Automatics in Caboolture.

The Torana is fairly new, also has SLR dash steering wheel. When seller purchased the vehicle someone else had had pulled out a 400 Chev. It has no rust it had been plated before painting only a few months ago.

For interstate buyers seller will arrange courier at your cost.

This vehicle is being sold other places and can be removed from eBay at anytime.
