This Turbo charged VL with 213kw @ rear wheels rebuild engine with garret t4 highflow brand new with receipts, aftermarket computer , B&M quick shift , senator rims lowered , custom paint job , blow off valve, signed personally by Peter Brock on 10/12/05.

On eBay is this 1974 Torana Show Car SLR 5000 (L31 M21 GU7).

This car won first place for best sedan in Adelaide’s SMASA (street machine association South Australia) earlier this year.

This puppy has a hell of a lot to list, but if you’re a serious buyer you’ll want to see this FIRST

This is number #200 built in March `74 and matching numbers

Original with some goodies, and except for the FORD 9" with 4:11 Gears, Professional Built with full LSD, This thing flies with it’s 230 HP at the wheels

This has a lot of Edelbrock products and some gear drives and big valves, electronic ignition and lots of polished ally, ceramic coated extractors, with a very nice 2 1/2" stainless engine pipes and mufflers, and lots of paint

M 21 Re-built with all new gears and Syncro’s and thrust washers and a cluster and in and out shafts(basically everything) and re-built the shifter linkages while it was at the shop for optimum performance and smooth.

This car has been restored with love and care. No short cuts have been taken while paying attention to protection for the future and protecting behind and in all areas of doors and chassis.

Interior is original, but in not too bad condition for 36 years old, The boot area is new with a nice custom job to compliment the interior

NEW Bars and a Full rubber kit from rare spares

Full History with photos through out the build, ALL STEEL and no rust.

Wheels are 14x8,245-50`s & 14x10,265-50 BF Goodies, (originals, not re-treads)-rare as hens` teeth, lucky find!!

Brakes are all BRAND NEW, top to bottom, (they work great) only drums on back (new) but pulls up on a dime

CAR is 99.9% finished, you might want to re-do the interior for that re-vamped look but I like the feel of the original stuff

Seller will help with transport where possible but recommends driving it rather than putting it on a car carrier.

For sale on eBay is this XY Fairmont. The car is a genuine ultra white, saddle trim, T bar automatic Fairmont, originally a six cylinder.

The car was resprayed over two years ago, that is when the wind back sunroof was installed, the trim, dash pad, console are all still in great original condition, front seat belts were installed as well at the time using N.O.S.

The wind back sunroof is in perfect working order, no leaks, opens and closes perfect every time. The motor is less than 12 months old, the block is a black block out of an XD and has been machined and balanced. It had been cleaned at standard bore, eagle rods, crank mahul forged pistons, 4v heads, solid cam, roller rockers, solid lifters, 3000 tci stall converter, high energy sump, 750cfm holley, MSD Digi 6 ignition, electronic dizzy, the box is a c4 which has been rebuilt with a stage 2 shift kit, 9" diff with 3.25 gears, disc brakes all round, the exhaust is a 3" mandrel bent stainless steel with 2.5"tips, running magnaflows, extractors are 4into1 pacemakers.

The car has all the GT parts, dash, all gauges have been recalibrated. The steering wheel, metal shaker, bonnet pin clips, genuine 12 or new 5 slotters come with the car, all the chrome and in top condition for the car’s age.

The car is also a pleasure to drive as the motor was built to be enjoyed as a daily driver or weekend racer. The car has a lot of power, just looks like a sleeper and hasthe seller has not dynoed the motor but a same combination motor built by the same engine builder made 520hp on the dynode at the fly wheel,.

Over $20,000 has been spent on the running gear and the receipt for motor is $14k+

Inspections are welcome.

Powered by Buick Stage 2 V6 as used in Indy car and Nascar late 80's. N/A with Holley 850 Annular carby, makes over 550hp.
MSD Ignition including Dizzy and start/retard module.
Buick motorsports on-centre block, 6 bolt cross bolted mains. Oliver connecting rods. Wiseco Pistons. Titanium Valves. Solid Roller cam. Jesel Rockers. Barnes 4 stage dry sump pump with Maclaren Indy car sump.
Buick Stage 2 Motorsport heads and twisted inlet manifold.

Engine is currently apart for rebuild but car is sold as running ready to race. Inspection is welcome, may be willing to sell without engine rebuilt but would prefer not to.

The car has run the Victoria state championship the past 4 years however only run 3 meetings with the Buick engine before removed for rebuild. Previous under 4 litre NSW state championship winner ad twice Vic Under 4 litre runner up with old engine with half the power. Car was half a second quicker in the wet at Philip Island than the previous best dry time with older engine.

You could buy this and be racing at next round in September.

For auction is this is a genuine 1973 HQ GTS 2 door coupe factory delivered in Tangerine with Lone-Oranger stripes.

Seller purchased this as an unfinished project which had been repainted but not put back together. The seller spent a couple of years finding all the missing parts and putting it back together, so it is now 100% complete.

Seller fitted a new windscreen, badges, reproduction door trims and lots more. The paint and bodywork looks very good and seller was told it cost painter over $10m000 just at the paint shop.

The seats are in excellent condition and the 308 engine and trimatic gearbox run very well, it is a good looking car that would make a great weekend driver or you could do a few things to make it perfect like re-chrome the bumper bars, replace the seatbelts , get some scratches buffed out of the back windscreen and side windows and there maybe a few other small things you could do in time and would have a very tidy old Monaro that you could take to shows.

The engine not the original engine but has the original chassis number which matches the tags.

The car has been in storage for the last 10 years and is in great condition for its age, but does show signs of past use.

Originally built as a Nutmeg Metallic / Flax trim version, she is currently dressed in Lone O Ranger with a NEW black vinyl and black & White houndstooth interior (All genuine NOS GM not aftermarket)

Interior is in excellent overall condition, as can be seen in the pictures on eBay. The vehicle as an XU1 long range fuel tank, complete with new repro covers.

It’s currently fitted with a non original red motor and triple SU carburettors.

Due to being in storage for this length of time it is unable to be driven due to a dead clutch. The engine runs and idles well, but due to clutch issues, there will be no test drives.

The car is perfect for someone looking for a genuine car that does not need body work, but would like to still have a play with some minor mechanical repairs.

The seller cannot say with 100% confidence how great the body is, and if there have been any previous repairs etc. The seller can say is observations there appears to be no rust issues with the car or signs of previous repairs.

This still won’t replace an inspection, which I would highly advise any bidder to do before the auction ends. Overall the body is one of the best I have ever seen.

The vehicle has a 308 11QT HQ Statesman motor which seller has recently run with all brand new parts used, chemically cleaned, balanced, pacemaker extractors, holley 600 square bore, Bosch electronic ignition, L34 Heads with stainless steel valves.

Hardened seats, mild crane cam, Elbelbrock performer manifold, 3 speed Trimatic electronic Kick down. The transmission was recently rebuilt with standard stall drives.

VN commodore V8 diff with LSD 345 gears, custom axles to suit ht pattern, 5 new Whitewall tyres. Exterior bare metal rolling shell sand blasted inside & out & underneath Glasurite respray 1 year at panel shop, panels are dead straight, underneath painted in 2 pack black, no rust in body.

The interior is the original and has been never re-trimmed. There are no rips and its in very good condition. Vehicle has bench seats. Door trims & dash have no cracks and are in very good condition,

There are two 2 sets of keys, 2 remotes for central locking. Car is all original, Aftermarket Pioneer stereo hidden speakers but no butchered door trims etc, stainless steel Twin Mandrel bent 2 1/2 inch exhaust high flow mufflers, Premier hub caps, spats. The number Plates are not included in sale.
